YOUR
FEEDBACK TRANSFORMED INTO ENHANCEMENTS WITH THE NEXT
PHASE OF ESPRESSO RESERVATION SYSTEM
Valued
Travel Partners,
At Royal Caribbean Cruises
Ltd.®
(RCL) we're rolling out the next Espresso enhancement,
the cruise industry's leading travel agent reservation
system, touting new and major capabilities for groups
business with our three major brands. The latest
enhancement changes the policy used to calculate the
Tour Conductor Credit. When selling Royal Caribbean
International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Club
Cruises, you can leverage the new Tour Conductor policy
for all Groups sailing on or after January 1, 2018.
Effective for Groups sailing on or after January
1, 2018, you'll now have the value of your cruise-only
tour conductor credit determined by the average cruise
fare of the total stateroom categories booked within a
group. All systems and group reports will be enhanced in
June 2017 to support the new tour conductor policy.
Groups sailing prior to January 1, 2018 will continue to
be determined by the cruise fare of the stateroom
category where the group has sold the most space.
In the spirit of continuously building on the
way we can help travel partners grow their business and
on the heels of our highly successful Espresso enhancements,
this new policy was introduced based on the feedback we
received from you — our valued travel partners.
Effective
for Groups sailing on or after January 1,
2018:
For
all groups sailing on or after January 1, 2018, one
cruise-only tour conductor credit is earned for every
sixteen (16) full-tariff guests, based on double
occupancy. The value of the cruise-only tour conductor
credit is determined by the average cruise fare of the
total stateroom category booked within a group. Third
and fourth passengers do not count towards the tour
conductor credit. Singles paying 200% of the full fare
count as two (2) guests for tour conductor purposes.
Tour conductor credits are paid on cruise fares only and
excludes government fees, taxes and NCCFs, net of
commission.
Effective

2018:
For
all Groups sailing prior to January 1 2018, one
cruise-only tour conductor credit is earned for every

group has sold the most space. If the same number of
staterooms has been sold in two or more categories, the
value is based on the lowest of those categories. If
multiple price points exist for the category in which
the tour conductor credit is earned, the lowest cruise
fare will be used for payment purposes. Third and fourth
passengers do not count towards the TC. Singles paying
200% of the full fare count as two (2) guests for tour
conductor purposes. Tour conductor credits are paid on
