It is an exciting time for MSC Cruises and the industry overall! We are continuing to prepare for our official restart this August, and we can’t wait to welcome your clients back on board.

We wanted you to be the first to see our new Thank You for Booking email that your clients will receive within 24-36 hours of booking with you. At the bottom of this letter, you can scroll to view the email in its entirety. In this email, we’re providing your clients with all of the information and next steps they need to be aware of before they cruise, right at their fingertips. This includes information we are requesting as close to booking as possible including a link to confirm the vaccination status of all travelers in their party, review our health and safety protocol, obtain information on MSC Cruises Travel Insurance & COVID-19 Protection Services required for not fully vaccinated guests and begin web check-in for their cruise. This is the reason why it is paramount for us to have the correct email contact information for your clients at time of booking — so we can effectively send communications like this to prepare them for their cruise.

Your clients will begin receiving this comprehensive email starting now, and within the next two weeks, we will also send a copy of this email to you at the same time it is sent to your clients. Your partnership remains a key priority, and we are committed to doing all possible to help you keep your clients up to date as we return to service.

We are thrilled to see the excitement building for our restart of cruising from the U.S. this summer, with MSC Meraviglia resuming on August 2nd and MSC Divina resuming on September 16th. We’d like to first update you on a few things required before sailing, and encourage you to complete the below items as quickly as possible. The health and safety of our guests, crew and the communities we visit is our top priority, and this information will provide MSC Cruises as well as yourself much needed information to ensure your cruise vacation is a safe and memorable experience.
 
VACCINATION STATUS & PASSAGE CONTRACT
As part of your pre-cruise check-in process, we are asking for details on the expected vaccination status of everyone in your party at the time of sailing. This is vital to be completed as quickly as possible to ensure that we inform you of what is required and what to expect before your cruise. We also ask that you acknowledge the Passage Contract and accept the terms and conditions on behalf of and with the consent of all persons named in the booking. Please have your booking confirmation number available and begin your web check-in process.
 
 
 
TRAVEL INSURANCE & COVID-19 PROTECTION SERVICES
All guests 12 years and older who are not fully vaccinated prior to sailing are required to purchase MSC Cruises Travel Insurance & COVID-19 Protection Services in order to sail. Not fully vaccinated guests are considered those who have not received their full vaccination at least 14 days prior to sailing; someone who is fully vaccinated but unable or unwilling to show proof of vaccination; someone recovered from COVID-19 within 90 days of the cruise and unable or unwilling to show the required documentation; or someone recovered from COVID-19 more than 90 days from the cruise. This is required to be purchased prior to making final payment on your booking. If you have not already purchased MSC Cruises’ Travel Insurance & COVID-19 Protection Services, and will fall into one of the above categories considered not fully vaccinated at the time of sailing, please purchase today by contacting us at 1-877-665-4655 if you booked your cruise directly with MSC Cruises or contact your Travel Advisor. This is required for all not fully vaccinated guests 12 years and older, and you will not be permitted to sail without it.

PROTECTING YOUR HEALTH & WELLBEING
Visit our website to learn more about our comprehensive health and safety protocol and what you need to know prior to sailing with us. This includes our enhanced and elevated cleanliness and disinfecting practices; pre-cruise requirements including the need for a negative RT-PCR test at least 72 hours prior to sailing for not fully vaccinated guests; terminal and embarkation requirements; onboard, ashore and disembarkation requirements and FAQ’s about your onboard experience. We will share additional health and safety information, instructions and requirements with you closer to your sail date.

You will be assigned a scheduled time slot for embarkation and disembarkation in line with new health and safety regulations. Please do not arrive before your assigned check-in time, as you will be asked to wait outside the terminal.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR CRUISE
Your booking confirmation number within is required to access your personal area to customize your cruise with discounted pre-paid packages.

We recommend that all guests complete the web check-in process as soon as possible. Web check-in is available up to 72 hours before your cruise departs. The address of residence is mandatory for all guests as well as mobile phone and email contact information of at least the primary guest on the booking. This information is required in order to print your cruise tickets. Please ensure all contact information is correct so that we are able to contact you with any important updates regarding the cruise, or in case of alerts related to health and safety. In the U.S., MSC Cruises is working to comply with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and other relevant authorities’ requirements and guidelines in order to restart cruising operations out of U.S. ports in a safe and responsible way, similar to how MSC Cruises has restarted in other regions around the world. Please consult the CDC website prior to booking for CDC travel advisories, warnings, or recommendations relating to cruise travel. If a certain threshold level of COVID-19 is detected onboard a ship that originated from the U.S., the voyage will end immediately, the ship will return to its U.S. port of embarkation, and your subsequent travel, including your return home, may be restricted or delayed. Due to the changing nature of current health and safety protocols, advertising may not accurately reflect the onboard and destination experience, which is subject to change without notice.

*Rates are cruise only per person based on double occupancy, with the exception of FLA & FLP categories, and quoted in USD. The lead rate of $159 is for Category I1 and applicable on MSC Divina on select 3-night cruises. Offer is valid for U.S. residents only. Government fees, taxes and port charges are additional for each guest. Offer is capacity-controlled, subject to availability, and can be withdrawn at any time with prior notice.
