Changes to all Onboard
Bookings made after June 30, 2024
|
|
We wanted to make
you aware of some upcoming changes to our guest journey for onboard
bookings.
From now on, guests will be required to use a card reader for all
payments they make via our Onboard Sales teams for Cunard® cruises. This will apply to payments guests make for new
future bookings, existing bookings, or upgrades purchased while on board.
With this new payment process, the initial booking confirmation will
indicate a payment of US$0 once a booking is made. The payment will be
applied to the booking, but this may take up to 7 days. Once the payment
is applied, a revised booking confirmation will be issued, reflecting the
onboard payment made by the guest. We kindly ask you to forward both
copies of the confirmation to your client.
As part of our commitment to enhancing the guest experience, we have
included the following wording in our booking confirmations.
Additionally, our Onboard Sales team will provide further details during
the booking process:
"If you booked
your next cruise while on board one of our ships, please allow up to 7
days for the deposit to be applied to your booking. You will receive
another confirmation once the deposit has been successfully
processed."
There are no changes to our onboard booking terms and conditions as a
result of this process. To find out more about our Onboard Sales team and
the benefits of booking on board, please visit
OneSourceCruises.com
Thank you for your continued support, and please feel free to reach out
if you have any further questions.

Changes to our Future
Cruise Deposit process
|
|
As a result of the
above changes, we are no longer able to process payments on board for
Future Cruise Deposits and therefore, from July 1, 2024, will remove the
ability for guests to purchase a Future Cruise Deposit only. This means
that guests will only receive the onboard booking benefits when booking a
future voyage.

through POLAR Online® for onboard bookings. In place of this, we will be
introducing new card readers, where the guest will be asked to insert
their own card and enter their pin.

the booking and the guest will then get a new, updated booking
confirmation.
